TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Agency Contract; indefinite term

JOB DESCRIPTION (work activities & responsibilities)

Represents the interests of the WBG and continuingly refer third parties to the WBG for the purpose of signing contracts and concluding business transactions, as well as ensuring a continuing expansion of business interests of the WBG in the Region.

∙            Discusses with WBG’s partners and further investigates their interests and terms under which they are willing to enter into agreements and do business with WBG;

∙            Ensures fulfillment of obligations under agreements concluded between the WBG and the WBG’s business partners, taking care of the requirements of the WBG’s business partners, of securing the right to discounts, of exercising rights under guarantees, etc.;

∙            Promptly informs the WBG of all material facts and circumstances, whether relating to an individual business deal or to the market in general, so that the WBG is able to protect its business interests in a timely manner;

∙            Investigates and monitors the solvency and business reputation of potential and current partners of the WBG;

∙            Informs the WBG of observed infringement of its rights – patents, trademarks, unfair competition and the like, and cooperates in remedying such infringements;

∙            Participates in all meetings called by the WBG, the management or other organizational units of the group relating to the business activities in the Region;

∙            Conducts presentations of products in accordance with received instructions;

∙            Adheres to plans of activities and field visits to business partners and other potential customers;

∙            Monitors macroeconomic developments;

∙            Researches and makes analysis of market trends in civil engineering, particularly in the field of building construction;

∙            Monitors supply and demand of roofing material and masonry elements, specifically roof tiles and clay building blocks;

∙            Seeks to ensure the presence of the Principal’s products at as many POS and in as many projects as possible;

∙            Ensures the implementation of the sales plan and increasing the sales volume above the planned quantities;

∙            Maintains regular contacts and good business relationships with all target groups (traders, engineers, contractors, various state and local authorities, investors etc.);

∙            Advertises the characteristics and promotes the advantages of the WBG's products;

∙            Seeks to ensure fitting of promotional material of the WBG at easily visible and frequented locations;

Cooperates in all sales, promotional and educational activities of the WBG;

∙            In cooperation with consultancy functions of the WBG, ensures assessment of required quantities of goods for all target groups;

∙            Gathers information about the activities of competitors;

∙            Participates in resolving any complaints;

∙            Delivers reports on performed activities and the situation on the market (monthly, quarterly, annually) and performs other tasks upon request.

 

KNOWLEDGE:
5 years of experience in the operations comprising the above scope

Computer literacy: MS Office – advanced user

SKILLS:
Fluency in English language

EDUCATION:
University degree (Civil Engineering shall be considered advantage)

PREFERRED PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Sales positions; Construction industry shall be considered advantage
