Director, Content Creator

We are seeking to add a Director of Content Creator that will primarily focus on our multi-family and workforce housing strategies. Candidate must have deep experience journalism and content creation with a proven track record. Candidate must be a proactive relationship builder, a creative thinker, and have a team-oriented mindset.

We are a collective of industry veterans from diverse verticals leveraging technology and innovative operating models to create incredible places to live, work, and play. We are currently pursuing investments in multifamily and workforce housing, single family rentals, as well as select other opportunistic opportunities.

 

Job requirements

• Writing 5-10 articles per month, submitting articles throughout the month to meet deadlines.
• Coordinating with the Executive Team for assignments and feedback.
• Writing content that upholds Spaxel’s brand voice/tone, grammatical and factual accuracy, readability, and expertise, authority and trust.
• Writing content that satisfies user intent by being insightful, useful, relevant, engaging and ultimately more helpful than any other content online.
• Performing in-depth research and cross-referencing of all online resources to ensure content is factually correct and original.
• Ensuring all written content free of grammatical errors prior to publication.

 

Characteristics

• Passionate about journalism with a proven track record
• At least 6-8 years of relevant work experience, including direct journalism and public content creation experience (ideally at a top-tier firm)
• Passionate about leveraging new and innovative technology across the real estate value chain; knowledgeable of the latest trends in proptech and innovative tech-enabled opco models
• Ability to clearly articulate the Spaxel narrative, strategy, and value proposition to investors, sponsors, brokers, members and other potential collaborators
• Attacks everything with drive, energy, and an eye on the bottom line; pushes everything through to completion
• Enjoys working on a team and across functional areas
